Description
Coal activated carbons are sourced from four different base materials: bituminous, sub-bituminous, anthracite, and lignite coal. The unique pore distribution from these base materials makes the carbon suitable to remove low to high molecular weight organics.
Common Coal Carbon Grades:
- COL-A60: medium activity granular activated carbon designed for general air treatment.
- COL-L60: medium & high activity granular activated carbon for general wastewater treatment, storm water filtration and PFAS/PFOS removal.
- COL-PA60: high activity extruded pellet carbon designed for the treatment of volatile organics and hydrocarbons
- COL-PA70: very high activity extruded pellet activated carbon for siloxanes and volatile organics treatment in biogas
- COL-AAKMNO4: a special blend of alumina and extruded pellet activated carbon for chlorine and hydrogen sulfide removal in gas
- COL-SC1400: premium grade high-capacity powder activated carbon for supercapacitors
- COL-L1000 LS: high activity granular activated carbon with a pH buffering agent for decolourisation of sugar liquors
- ACOL-L60: acid-washed high activity granular activated carbon for potable water treatment and industrial water treatment applications
- COL-PL900: high activity powder activated carbon for potable water purification, soil remediation and Geosmin and MIB removal
- COL-PL1000: very high activity powder activated carbon for potable water purification, soil remediation and Geosmin & MIB removal
